Local author’s second book strikes at the importance of faith tied to science

In 2022, a Bible passage struck Krauland — a one-time atheist, or one who does not believe in God — in a way that compelled him to begin developing his latest work.

“It was Matthew 7:13-14 … where Jesus himself says (with regard to the afterlife) that we should ‘strive to enter through the narrow gate because the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and many enter through the broad gate but small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few will find it,’” he said.
